Real Time Retreats

Or How We Spent Our Covid Vacation!

While the world was on lockdown, we fed our wanderlust via a weekly series of destination “deep dives” we called Real Time Retreats.

More than a mere “webinar”, each episode in the series was a memorable experience! Featuring engaging and interactive hour long Zoom gatherings spotlighting destinations as diverse as Iceland and the Greek Isles, glamorous locales from Beverly Hills to Monaco, celebrations from Mardi Gras in New Orleans to Carnival in Rio—featured a guest chef from Nobu, a winery expert from South Africa and High Tea in the Cotswalds. If we could dream it up, we were able to find a partner to bring that vision to life!

The buy-in from our destination partners and the inspiring level of engagement from our planner community kept us in creative mode for over a year. The relationships that were formed from all over the world continue to be an integral part of our hospitality family. “You saved us during the Covid years!” We hear that often and receive it with glad hearts.

These weekly gatherings were just too entertaining not to share them and keep them within reach on our website—so here you will find a link to our 58 episode “library” of Real Time Retreats. Use them for research, use them for inspiration, or tune in for a little taste of the wit and creativity that we love about the hospitality industry!
