Want to dress the part? Create your own unique interpretation of Aspen… is it fashionable and chic? Outdoorsy and unshaven (guys, ready to compete with Michael Boulanger’s ‘shelter-in-place stubble’)?

Ready to hit the slopes, or hang out at the J Bar or Ajax Tavern? There are lots of recipes for snacks and cocktails provided by our partners in Aspen, as well as some playlists, movie recommendations, videos and more.

Want to experience the sights and sounds of Aspen??? Let’s get started! Click here, close your eyes and picture yourself in this charming mountain town. Enjoy!

As as added bonus, each week we’ll be rewarding a planner who goes ‘all-in’ on the theme with goodies from Maui Jim. So engage, be creative, and have fun!

DOWNHILL SNAPPER BLOODY MARY –
ST. REGIS, ASPEN

The Downhill Snapper draws inspiration from the change of seasons in the Colorado Rockies. The subtle coolness of dill evokes the winter; basil and the refreshing citrus are redolent of bright summer days. Inviting flavors lend a distinctively fresh garden-to-glass taste to this signature cocktail.

Downhill Snapper Bloody Mary - St. Regis, Aspen

Ingredients:

  • 4-½ oz / 130ml tomato juice
  • 4-½ oz I 130ml V8 juice
  • ½ oz lime juice
  • ½ oz Bloody Mary seasoning
  • ¼ oz horseradish
  • ½ oz Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp / 15g kosher salt
  • Few dashes of Tabasco sauce

Rose-infused vodka:

  • 2 branches of dill
  • 1 branch of basil
  • 1 750ml bottle premium vodka

Garnish:

  • 1 cornichon
  • 2 olives on a skewer
  • 1 lime wedge
  • Salted rim

Directions:

Infuse vodka by placing 2 branches of dill and 1 branch of basil in a 750 ml bottle of premium vodka. Close the bottle and infuse heat-free for 2-3 days.

Combine ingredients for The St. Regis Aspen Resort Signature Bloody Mary Mix. Refrigerate overnight, 6-8 hours minimum. Salt rim of a tall Collins glass and fill with ice. Pour 1-½ oz of infused vodka followed by 11 oz of Bloody Mary Mix over the ice. Garnish.
